Tsitsi Dangarembga is the author of an acclaimed trilogy, including Nervous Conditions, The Book of Not, and This Mournable Body, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. She is a recipient of the PEN Pinter Prize, the Windham-Campbell Prize, and the PEN Award for Freedom of Expression. Also a filmmaker, she is the director of Institute of Creative Arts for Progress in Africa (ICAPA) Trust and founder of International Images Film Festival for Women (IIFF).
