Iheoma Uzomba is a Staff Writer at Open Country Mag, where she writes Profiles and reviews. She is a spoken word artiste and poet. Her poems have appaeared on Rattle Magazine, Palette Poetry, The Shore Poetry, The Rising Phoenix Review, Ake Review, Isele Magazine, and elsewhere. In 2022, she was winner of the Lagos-London Poetry Contest. A Poetry Translation Center (UK) UNDERTOW Fellow, she holds a BA degree in English and Literary Studies from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She was editor of The Muse Journal No. 50.
