Umuofia Arts and Books Festival 2024 Set for Enugu

Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition in Awka, Anambra State, last year, the Umuofia Arts and Books Festival has established itself as a reputable event in Eastern Nigeria, celebrating the rich heritage of arts and literature in the region.

The Festival returns for a second year, this time in Enugu, from July 31st to August 3rd, 2024. Themed “Rebirth,” this year’s edition promises an even more enriching and dynamic experience for attendees. Events include book discussions, readings, drama performances, art exhibitions, a music concert, and poetry performances. The festival aims to create a wholesome and engaging environment for art and book lovers from around the globe.

Enugu provides a scenic backdrop for the festival, allowing visitors to explore the city while indulging in a diverse range of artistic and literary events.
